WTAPS Iterates Its "MILL" Uniform Collection for Spring/Summer '20

Tetsu Nishiyama’s laser focus on elevating the miliary uniform for everyday wear returns for the Spring/Summer ‘20 season as WTAPS reveals its black and brighter olive-drab colored “MILL” uniform.

Directed by stylist Akio Hasegawa as evident by his signature oversized styling, the latest lookbook showcases the collection of 6 staple garments ranging from outerwear to trousers. The nyco-blend M-65 jacket returns to form in black and olive drab colorways with its utilitarian details including two chest pockets, two flap hand pockets, and a hood-storage collar. WTAPS’ attention to detail is further emphasized by the jacket’s compatibility with the AW19 “MILL” liner jacket. Similarly detailed BDU jungle and utility shirts exhibit the same shape as the M-65 jacket with contrast raw stitch designs at the back of the neck. Trousers make up the bulk of the collection with two iterations of military cargo pants, one more heavy-duty with 6 flap pockets and also compatible with WTAPS liner pants while the other is lightweight with hem drawstring cords. The last pair is a workwear-inspired bottom featuring reinforced paneling around the pockets.

Keep up to date on the “MILL” collection’s release at WTAP’s website.
