Goodfight Autumn/Winter '20
Since their debut collection in Spring/Summer ‘18, Los Angeles-based label Goodfight has quickly established themselves as they challenge traditional takes on menswear, characterized by flattering silhouettes, vibrant designs, and the finest fabrics and craftsmanship. Their Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection entitled “Harvest Train To Christmas Mountain, I Know We’ll Be There Soon” heads to the outdoors as they reflect on the perception of freedom through the relationship between humans and nature.
With a laser-focused theme following the awakening of a 9-to-5 office employee who unplugs in nature, the collection fuses everyday garments with utilitarian features and distorted designs. Eye-catching patterns are highlighted by their original Camp Craft Camo artwork, created by blending 16 images resulting in a pseudo-camoflauge pattern with hidden easter egg imagery. The water-resistant Camp Craft Camo is showcased on multiple models including their Puffer Jacket and Vest, filled with Thinsulate for warmth and weather protection in the Winter season, as well as their 6-panel hat and full-length Storm Poncho. Goodfight also debuts their selvedge denim program in the form of a tapered straight leg and cropped styles that balances out colorful striped trousers and psychedelic-patterned Illusion Shorts. Meanwhile, sweater staples are stitched to give a layered look while half-zip collared pullovers are crafted with an extensive pocketing system and adjustable hem cords. Their popular accessory line created alongside Good Art Hlywd continues in the form of sterling silver necklaces, earrings, and more.
