Xenia Telunts Spring/Summer '21

A product of quarantine, Xenia Telunts Spring/Summer ‘21 collection -- titled Dandagh -- encapsulates comfort by way of loose cuts, light fabrications, and an extremely playful use of patchwork. The designer, whose surrounding life has slowed down as a result of COVID-19, used her time to reflect on what her brand represents and how to live sustainably in both a personal and global sense.

The pieces, though still an allusion to timeless workwear and the like, are benefited by Telunts’ unique eye as even the most simple of chore coats are lent a hand with angular darts or a series of patterned swatches. Alongside, even the Kimono is improved by way of unique patchwork, the hand-stitched additions taking the shape of fruits, plants, mugs, and the stereotypical one chimney home. Elsewhere, the adjacent styles prefer to lead with fit and material: pajama shirts keeping comfortable with handwoven cotton while four pocket jackets do the same with a Japanese variant. Short sleeve military shirts run parallel with a distinct aesthetic, its somewhat more serious and fitted leaning contrasting that of the Fisherman sweater as well as the Sand and linen shirting.

Find simple indigo-dyed scarves, knitted pants, a few trouser complements, and much more right below. The pieces currently are up for pre-order on xeniatelunts.com once you sign up.
