Sillage Further Expands Their Fall Collection With Layerable Outerwear Staples

Arguably their most fleshed out set of work yet, Sillage’s currently growing Fall 2020 collection is scheduled to expand further in breadth with Drop 2 -- a small curated selection that not only continues past collaborations but also delves further into the Japanese label’s signature layer heavy style.

An exercise in layering, the range explores a large number of timeless staples, each garment unique in both its length and material. Peacoats, with their signature two-button placket, are deceptively simple, masking a unique iridescent fabrication with muted colors. Overcoats, hooded parkas, and the like follow a similar palette in their own ways, and yet despite this, some bear colorful accents like multicolor patchwork backs or seemingly hand-painted embellishments. Elsewhere, overshirts arrive in camel and indigo shaded variants, both chain-stitched and embroidered with floral motifs, western-inspired text, and cursive “Sillage” branding. Then, to close out their current season partnership with mocT, the imprint is proffering the same Loopwheel basics replete with neon yarns.

Grab a detailed look at these here and expect to the release to arrive this coming Saturday, September 12th on Sillage’s Webstore
