Sage de Cret Autumn/Winter '20

Sage de Cret Autumn/Winter '20

Japanese label Sage de Cret, led by Kimitoshi Chida since 2001, presents its military-inspired take on traditional menswear garments for its Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection.

Sage de Cret, a combination of the two French words “sage” and “decret” meaning sensible and decree, is the perfect description for Chida’s meticulous attention to detail in each garment’s construction and their balance within everyday styling. Outerwear is topped off with classic silhouettes such as speckled wool knee-length coats. The midlayer items are where the collection shines with various iterations of the everyday blazer jacket, contrast colored zip liner jackets constructed in military olive, and soft yet warm hooded sweatshirts. Collared and collarless button up shirts come in classic light blue colorways that can be worn formally or casually while trousers are often relaxed, straight fit styles in the form of sweatpants or cropped cargos.
