In true form, nanamica continues to design garments that combine both functionality and comfort for Spring/Summer ‘22.
Acknowledging the situational varieties wearers encounter on a daily basis, nanamica has divided its Spring/Summer ‘22 collection into three scenes: daily transition in urban environments, comfortable home-wear and relaxing days out. Each scene sees staple nanamica wares engineered with a specific technology that maximises comfort and functionality in its destined environment, such as sweat-wicking fabrics in urban areas or temperature regulating material for home wear.
The ‘Heading to the office’ scene is catered to busy creatives working in urban environments where outerwear is required to be light yet waterproof and quick-drying. Therefore, we see the Hooded Cruiser Jacket and Short Soutien Collar Coat coming into line that is designed for activities like moving around and cycling, for example, through the use of GORE-TEX fabrications. The ALPHADRY Club Jacket joins such longer silhouettes for an added formal touch. Luggage accessories for traversing the urban landscape come in the form of water-repellent tote bags and a Day Pack made using a blend of cotton and Cordura Ripstop which both allow for plenty of easy to access storage.
To maximise functionality and comfort when fairly sedentary, nanamica has coupled KODENSHI® and ALPHADRY® fabric technologies that propose both body temperature regulation and microporous waterproofing. Office and home wear has been built with relaxation and comfort and mind so bottoms come without side seams and welcome an elasticated waistband for freedom of movement.
