The ‘U-Man OG Skool LX' by UNDEFEATED and Vans Vault
Picking up where they left things off four years ago, UNDEFEATED leaves its mark on the Vans Vault ‘OG Skool LX’.
As the 15th anniversary of this collaborative pairing looms over, UNDEFEATED updates the ‘OG Skool LX’ silhouette from Vans Vault with its signature ‘U-Man’ motif, originally designed by the artist, Geoff McFetridge, when the brand first opened its doors in 2002. In the years since it has become synonymous with UNDEFEATED’s identity.
For 2021, the pair has developed three different colourways across the OG Skool LX style, featuring an all-over ‘U-Man’ print: “Bistro Green,” “Blue Lolite” and “Buckthorn Brown”. Crafted from a combination of sturdy canvas material and soft pigskin suede, each pair sees the ‘U-Man’ motif printed on the quarter panels, tongue and collar whilst collaborative branding finds its way onto the tongue and lace tab. Finally, to accompany the footwear are three graphic tees designed by UNDEFEATED that sees their signature logo stamped on them.
