Yuthanan Develops 'La Ligne Grise' Line for ROKX
ROKX has tapped the mind of Yuthanan - freelance photographer and Sillage director - to develop a new line for them dubbed ‘La Ligne Grise’, which translates to ‘The Grey Line’ meaning an ‘inorganic concrete jungle’.
The line has been designed with ROKX’s original climbing wear silhouettes in mind through Yuthanan’s easily identified approach. The resulting pieces are complemented by grey tones synonymous with Tokyo’s concrete metropolis dressed in typical oversized silhouettes. Overall, there are 5 pieces within the collection including the Fleece Blouson, Fleece Shorts, French Mountain Jacket and French Mountain Pants. The pieces all play on the idea of layering; for example, it is recommended that the wearer couples the French Mountain Pants with the Fleece Shorts simultaneously creating volume and adding protection, the same goes for the tops. In keeping with the outdoor side of things, some of the pieces incorporate Polartec fleece in their construction which is excellent in retaining heat whilst maintaining the heritage of ROKX.
Exclusively available from Journal Standard’s online store.
