Studio Nicholson's Pre-Fall '21 Collection Emphasizes Elegance with Adaptability
Studio Nicholson has revealed their Pre-Fall ‘21 collection lookbook, a modular wardrobe that challenges today’s mindset about clothes while referencing design elements from architecture, product design, and muted color palettes.
Designer Nick Wakeman and her team focused on a foundation of comfort, durability, and, most important, versatility that matches today’s lifestyle that has been transformed by the past year’s events. In spite of these changes, Studio Nicholson has never lost their vision of elegance and simplicity with nonchalant layering. The women’s collection brings back fan-favorites including the Dordoni volume pants, a relaxed high waisted trouser with deep front pleat in a peached cotton twill. This same design elements are reflected in their skirt and dress designs while crafted in premium materials such as Italian premium cotton and viscose virgin wool dry drape twill. Their knitwear selection is the ideal set of tops for the transitional season with the Auguste knit incorporating a semi-concealed zip-up collar while popping colors make a statement such as the Orlandi knit, a classic crew neck knit top made from a lightweight 7 gauge merino wool that comes in an eye-catching mustard colorway.
