FACETASM Spring/Summer '22
Maintaining a casual elegance, FACETASM celebrates its 15th anniversary ahead of its Spring/Summer ‘22 collection.
To present the Spring and Summer collection on a deeper level, Hiromichi Ochiai enlisted the aid of Kohki Hasei to produce a short film that showcased the pieces amidst Tokyo’s industrial heartland - a striking juxtaposition to their elegant nature, but still maintaining a streetwear-oriented narrative. Oversized cuts and silhouettes have become part and parcel of FACETASM’s offering, frequently drafting in iconic styles like MA-1 bomber jackets, denim trucker jackets and shirting. Distressed fabrics, inside-out contrast stitching, patchwork fabrics and plaid are all incremental in putting a spin on the Spring and Summer collection, delivered through a FACETASM lens. In a stylistic sense, side-striped trackpants have been elevated with bondage straps and paired alongside oversized denim and plaid shirting.
