marka, the sister brand of Japanese imprint MARKAWARE, presents a line of casual and utility garments, infused with a versatile casualness for everyday wear.
Defined by muted color palettes, marka’s latest collection is a masterclass on functional minimalism as displayed by military-inspired pieces, stripped down to the essentials. Field jackets in a dark mud tone features four large storage pockets across the front with slightly slanted angles. The harrington jacket, known for it’s sleek design, is transformed with two pockets placed in the front and a zipped collar for a stowaway hood. Rounding out the outerwear pieces are multiple iterations of the trench coats and padded outerwear for the extreme weathers. Casual and comfy zip up sweaters and crewneck pullovers are versatile midlayers that pair easily with their relaxed fitting cargo pants, flared trousers, and cropped chinos.
