SOUTH2 WEST8 Spring/Summer '22
One of Nepenthes’ notable brands, SOUTH2 WEST8, has unveiled its lookbook for Spring/Summer ‘22.
The label continues its study of the urban outdoor outfit drawing on iconic designs from fields like hunting wear, outdoor and fishing uniforms. Upon first glance of the collection, the number of pocket-laden garments is heavy as are the bold patterns and fabrications that weave themselves onto the clothing. But, this isn’t atypical of SOUTH2 WEST8, it’s an honest and fitting interpretation of what are often bland and function-focused pieces. Frequently, the focal point of their collections, outerwear, is heavily inspired by styles of fishing clothing hence the littering of D-rings, detachable panels and spacious pockets. The ‘Tenkara’ range continues to expand but familiar silhouettes like the parka and vest remain and are updated with various types of prints and patterns like ‘tree camo’. Shirting for the Spring/Summer collection shares technical characteristics suiting with the outerwear - replete with pockets and D-ring attachments - but in the form of their ‘Hunting Shirt’ silhouettes and short-sleeved shirts.
Take a closer look at the range below and stay tuned for the release of the collection in the near future.
