Kosuke Tsumura and Lavenham Lean on Functionality and Utilitarian Design in this Outerwear Capsule

Kosuke Tsumura and Lavenham Lean on Functionality and Utilitarian Design in this Outerwear Capsule

Kosuke Tsumura, the mind behind the cult dystopian label, Final Home, has joined forces with British heritage brand, Lavenham, on a sharp and finely-tuned capsule collection.

Coming together for Autumn/Winter ‘21, the pair has devised two unique outerwear silhouettes - the Gilet and Poncho Jacket - in a collection underpinned by functionality and utilitarian design; both of which are fundamentals of each party. In the pursuit of creating a better world for current and future generations, they have taken it upon themselves to be increasingly mindful in their approach. Each garment has been crafted from 100% recycled ‘Lavenster’ polyester and comes with three ‘pebbles’ made using recycled contents that can be used for insulation purposes. Embodying elements from Tsumura’s FINAL HOME ‘Survival Jacket’, both the Gilet and Poncho Jacket feature a fully concealable hood and a zipper track that runs parallel to the main snap closure. Each style is available in a choice of navy or olive.

The capsule collection is available now from Lavenham’s online store, as well as select retailers like Peggs & Sons and The Bureau.
