Ryota Iwai’s minimal yet elegant label AURALEE continues to exude class, sophistication, and comfort as it channels inspiration from vibrant and serene nature scenes for Spring/Summer ‘22.
Accompanied by a video feature that accentuates the effortless drape of its garments in motion alongside the calm sounds of nature, AURALEE’s latest collection is another masterclass in designing with the finest materials in the world. Herringbone-woven light cashmere coveralls are crafted with a rare Mongolian yarn that is individually dyed while slacks and boxy tops are based off a MinoWashi (Japanese Paper). The outerwear selection is free-flowing with relaxed fitting zip-up jackets coming in natural khaki tones while wool coats are crafted with an artisanal touch down to every stitch details. Airy knit cropped vests and over shirts are essential layers for the warm yet breezy conditions, and the label goes slightly astray from their signature minimalism as they incorporate floral and duck camo patterns to button up shirts and field jackets. The lookbook also teases their latest New Balance sneaker collaborations, revealing two pantone colorways alongside various sandals and cozy mules.
