EDEN power corp and MYCOAUDIO Host Mycelium Mushroom Speakers Installation

EDEN power corp recently partnered with MYCOAUDIO, a producer of sculptural speakers, for an art installation to showcase the ‘Mycelium Mushroom Speakers’.

In a profound case of technology meets nature, the speakers are made from a Raku-fired ceramic shell and feature a reishi mycelium mushroom core as sound insulation which is a more sustainable alternative to plastic foam. During the exhibition, the speakers played a loop of unreleased songs from Montreal locals including Cameron Morse and Varfalvy. Finally, the gallery space also hosted a guided meditation and breathwork session where the speakers were utilised to aid participants.

A selection of the 1st generation R1 speakers is available to purchase now via MYCOAUDIO’s online store.
