Goldwin Launches Latest Initiative Titled '0'
Marking a new chapter in the Japanese brands history, Goldwin experiments with environmentally-friendly design in the launch of their latest initiative ‘0’.
Leaning on their decade’s worth of expertise in functional ski-wear, Goldwin 0 is co-designed by Julia Rodowicz and Jean-Luc Ambridge in close collaboration with the Goldwin team in Japan and OK-RM. Taking a multi-faceted approach to the process, the platform is built on furthering our pre-conceived boundaries of what design could achieve, without compromising the environment. So far, we have seen a glimpse of the Cropped Shell Jacket and matching shell pants constructed using Brewed Protein™, a process that utilises sugars and microbes as opposed to animal-derived ingredients or petrochemicals. In addition, a technology called WHOLEGARMENT is expected to see Goldwin 0 develop seam-free knitwear which would mark an industry first.
The line is expected to release around August/September time in sync with the Autumn/Winter ‘22 season but stay tuned for updates closer to the time.
