Goldwin 0 Displays its Autumn/Winter '22 Collection Through 'Enquiry #2'
First announced in March, the duly anticipated launch of Goldwin 0’s debut Autumn/Winter ‘22 collection looms by the day.
For now, though, we have been experiencing the pieces through a series of ‘Enquiries’ that demonstrate those garments in a number of ways; Enquiry #2, for example: ‘It explores the potential and essential interrelationships of the body, sound, space and motion, in which no art form is held above the other.’ Over the last few months, we have seen glimpses of what is to come courtesy of designers like Julia Rodowicz and Jean-Luc Ambridge Lavelle who bring their distinct visions to the table whilst maintaining the ethos of Goldwin 0, one that looks back on the origins of ski-wear with an emphasis on sustainability and nature. Throughout the collection, there is a number of technical pieces of clothing that suit a specific purpose, such as the Long Shell, Packable Parka and Straight Cut Pants. In addition, Rodowicz references early ski-wear with her WholeGarment knitwear - a technology developed by Shima-Seiki Japan - which is crafted as one piece and requires no seams, thus generating no waste in the process and when the OpticalKnit is brought into question lends colour-changing effects.
Due to release from select stockists in the coming months - stay tuned for an update closer to the time.
