A Closer Look at the This Thing of Ours x norbit by Hiroshi Nozawa 'Field Jacket'
Off the back of the pairs earlier collaborative two-piece - the Insect Shield Jacket and Bottoms - This Thing of Ours has developed an exclusive colourway of one of norbit’s famed pieces, the Field Jacket.
2022 has seen This Thing of Ours experimenting further with in-house collaborations so far having worked with names like Mackintosh and 1733 on exclusive products. Comprising the second part of their Spring/Summer drop with norbit, This Thing of Ours has developed a bespoke colourway of the Field Jacket, cladding the icon in an all-sand upper with contrasting hardware and buttons. The jacket itself has been constructed using salt-shrunk nylon that has undergone a light water repellent finish, expressing a truly unique hand feel. Not lacking character in any way, the front is fitted with an assortment of pockets with zipper and button closure, as well as fishing-inspired touches like rod holders and D-ring attachments whilst the rear is fitted with a game pocket.
