NORDISK Japan x Danner 'MOUNTAIN TREAD ND'
NORDISK and Danner have come together to design a bespoke version of the Mountain Light boot, repurposing it and affixing it with its new name: ‘MOUNTAIN TREAD ND’. Maintaining its rugged appearance, the upper has been made using a beige oiled suede sourced from Europe which possesses the soft properties of suede with the added protection from the oil. A zipper has been added to the sidewall that offers the wearer an easier point of access. For the lining, the boot utilises Danner’s proprietary ‘Danner Dry’ membrane which boasts excellent waterproofing and breathability. Finishing touches come in the way of engraved collaborative logos, two-tone laces, metal lace eyelets and a Kletterlift Vibram sole.
