LAD MUSICIAN Spring/Summer '23

LAD MUSICIAN Spring/Summer '23

With Yuichi Kuroda remaining at the helm of the Japanese imprint, LAD MUSICIAN has given us the first look at its Spring/Summer ‘23 collection which is due to release in the coming months.

Maintaining a clear glam-rock aesthetic, LAD MUSICIAN’s latest output is defined as being a free and liberating style that fuses design cues from street style and rock music, allowing the wearer to dance in comfort. By all standards, the collection is characteristically oversized and boxy, whereas in the past we have seen much more in the way of slim, clean-cut silhouettes. But, this new direction merely reflects Kuroda’s deeper thinking behind the clothing. Sportswear-inspired zip-up jackets, oversized parka coats and distressed knit sweaters all take place alongside mainstay styles like tailored trousers and button-up suit jackets. Never one to shy away from loud prints, the garments come dressed with animal, floral and Hawaiian-style prints that look at home in the LAD MUSICIAN universe.

Take a closer look at the full collection below.
