Goldwin and Baracuta Release Autumn/Winter '23 Capsule
After the release of its collection with Spiber, Goldwin has released a capsule that is developed in conjunction with the British outerwear icon, Baracuta.
With a shared commitment to craftsmanship and a lengthy history between them, Goldwin and Baracuta have created a series of garments that marry Goldwin’s innovative technology with signature outerwear silhouettes. The capsule consists of three limited edition pieces - the GORE-TEX G-9 Jacket, GORE-TEX G-12 Coat and GORE-TEX Hat - that utilise the pinnacle of waterproof and breathable fabric technology: GORE-TEX.
The G-12 Coat is a longer silhouette and the G-9 Jacket is akin to a Harrington style that Baracuta is widely recognised for, but they have been upgraded using a performance fabric and technical features like waterproof zippers and envelope-style pockets for maximum protection. Lastly, the capsule is rounded off by the GORE-TEX Bucket Hat, a technical take on a classic. Each style comes in a choice of two colours - Black and Grassland - and incorporates Baracuta’s signature Fraser Tartan check pattern on the inside.
The lookbook, which was shot by Umit Savaci, artfully captures the comings and goings of four individuals who find their own solitude amidst a busy life in London.
