KEEN and HYKE Previews its Debut Collaboration
During HYKE’s Spring/Summer ‘23 show, they previewed their debut collaboration with the footwear label, KEEN, which is recognised for its outdoor-inspired silhouettes.
Behind the product, the thesis of this partnership is built upon the concept of heritage and evolution as HYKE pays homage to original KEEN styles, bringing them up to a modern standard. In the process, the pair produced a special edition of the Rosarita II and San Juan Sandal II in time for Spring/Summer. Each sandal adheres to different styling in its own right, but they have both been made using eco-friendly nubuck leather with a footbed that is made from a microfiber top layer bonded to an EVA sole and midsole. For added traction, grooves have been added to the sole for a better grip when in contact with the ground. Finishing touches by the way of a dual-branded footbed.
