HYKE Autumn/Winter '23
Due to release later in the year, HYKE has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ‘23 collection which sees the husband-and-wife design duo, Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, continue to navigate their own way in an increasingly busy industry.
Further blurring the lines between technical and high-end design, HYKE builds on the previous blocks it has laid over the past decade, reinterpreting certain military silhouettes in a distinctive manner that sit alongside crafted feminine silhouettes, such as handbags and maxidresses. In addition to that, the collection is rounded off by more gender-neutral offerings like technical outerwear, flowy pleated bottoms, ski-inspired knitwear and all-in-one suits. Where outerwear is concerned, select garments come constructed using Pertex Shield technology which is a waterproof, breathable, windproof and lightweight fabric. The offering is rounded off by a selection of jewellery which features custom rings, earrings and necklaces that seamlessly coexist within the HYKE universe. Lastly, HYKE is set to continue its footwear partnership with Keen as the pair grows in tandem with one another. The colour palette of Autumn/Winter ‘23 stays fairly low-key with militaristic khaki mixed with sandy yellow hues and pops of red for a sharp burst.
