The 'PORTER THINGS' Series by PORTER Is Due To See a Nationwide Release
Originally released in 2017 to a limited number of PORTER stores, PORTER THINGS will now be available across Japan as of tomorrow.
Given its previously limited nature, the PORTER THINGS series of bags commanded an additional layer of prestige and has been highly sought after since its introduction in 2017; so much so that PORTER has decided a nationwide release is in order. The series consists of four bag styles including the Backpack, 2Way Helmet Bag, Messenger Bag and Waist Bag, all of which integrate technical details like stretch cords, three-dimensional forms and fasteners. The appearance of each bag can be adapted to the wearer’s situation thanks to interchangeable cords, allowing for either a toned-down black or a more sports-inspired volt colour.
Given the brand’s reputation for consistently innovating, PORTER marks the first time that Cubic Eye® Piquelite has been utilised in this context as it is typically reserved for medical care and sports given its breathable, quick-drying and shock-absorbing nature. Incorporating this technology into the back panel reduces contact between the bag and the body, allowing the wearer to remain comfortable over longer periods of time. In addition to the use of Cubic Eye® Piquelite, the construction of each bag can also be attributed to glossy nylon twill and ballistic nylon which offer their own individual properties, including durability and waterproofing.
