nonnative Autumn/Winter '23
Tokyo-based label, nonnative, headed up by Takayuki Fujii, returns with another series of contemporary workwear and military-inspired garments to prepare the wearer for Autumn/Winter.
Titled ‘Ordinary Days’, Autumn/Winter ‘23 sees nonnative revert to a regular schedule, using it as an opportunity to revisit its fundamental principles while seeking inspiration from workwear, military and outdoor items. As considered as ever, the styles are thoughtfully crafted using high-quality seasonally appropriate fabrics like Shetland wool yarn and cashmere yarn, as well as technical materials like GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER and POLARTEC. With this in mind, nonnative provides a measured array of outerwear, accessories, bottoms, shirting and tops, with modifications made to existing styles like the Dweller Long Coat, Alpinist Easy Pants and Denim Blouson Jacket. Autumn/Winter ‘23 sees nonnative usher in collaborations with the likes of Diemme who assist in the production of the Worker Zip Duck Boot, as well as Grip Swany and Kaneko Optical across footwear, gloves and eyewear.
