Mountain Research and KEEN Celebrate 15 Years of the Pyrenees Hiking Boot
Since its introduction in 2009, the Pyrenees Hiking Boot by KEEN has remained a mainstay in the brand’s lineup, undergoing several iterations in that time.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, KEEN has partnered with the Japanese label Mountain Research, which offers its revered take on this classic hiker silhouette. There are a handful of differences in construction between this variation and the inline model, including a brown suede upper, an embossed ‘wreath’ on the heel, and ‘Holiday in the Mountain’ applied to the tongue. Further traditional touches that you would typically see on mountain boots include two-tone laces and metal eyelets. In line with its commitment to be more conscientious throughout the supply chain, KEEN has ensured this model is 100% PFAS-free.
