White Mountaineering Updates Timberland's Classic 6-Inch Boot and Motion Scramble Sneaker
Since their inaugural collaboration in March of this year, when the ‘Euro Hiker’ and ‘3 Eye Lug’ styles were the topic of discussion, White Mountaineering and Timberland are keeping the momentum high by unveiling collaborative editions of the 6-Inch Boot and Motion Scramble sneaker.
White Mountaineering taps into Timberland’s heritage side with a revised version of the 6-inch Boot, which is contrasted by a more future-thinking sneaker, the Motion Scramble, which captures a younger, more technical side of the brand. The classic 6-inch Boot has its height raised by 1.5cm and adopts a stripped-back look devoid of its traditional laces, replaced by a side zipper that allows the boot to be easily slipped on and off. The boot is made of an all-black pebble-grained leather. Rounding off this season’s collaboration is the Motion Scramble sneaker, based on the boot from which it borrows its name but styled for urban and outdoor use. The materials on the upper have been selected for their charming character, which will mature softly with wear.
