HAVEN and GORE-TEX Continue to Explore Advanced Technologies for Weather Protection
Since their relationship began three years ago, HAVEN and GORE-TEX have continued to explore ways to incorporate advanced material technologies into clothing to help us battle the elements.
In its latest capsule, the Canadian retailer presents a range of weather-ready outerwear silhouettes using GORE-TEX PRO developed in collaboration with the Gore technicians. Originally developed for athletes and professional use, GORE-TEX PRO is cited as the ideal material to handle the unpredictable climate of the Pacific Northwest, which HAVEN calls home. With a 3-layer bonded constructed, DWR finish and seam-taped interior, the garments are built to withstand whatever is thrown at them regardless of the context, from the mountains to the city. Additionally, HAVEN has introduced several WINDSTOPPER-clad pieces like the Logan Hybrid Jacket and Recon Jacket, which use a technology heralded for its lightweight, breathable and waterproof properties, making it ideal for use in everyday settings. Overall, the pieces include the Interval Coat, Logan Vest, Bellum Jacket and Spectre Jacket, in addition to those mentioned previously.
