18 East Presents its 'Homegrown' Collection
18 East has unveiled its ‘Homegrown’ collection which is an ongoing project produced entirely in Vermont, the home state of 18 East’s creative director.
The collection is made up of 11 pieces from socks and beanies to knitted sweaters and hooded pullovers that value craftsmanship and traditional methods. Their domestic partners include Moriarty, a specialist in headwear, Thuja, a small batch gear company, Darn Tough, providing socks for the capsule, Muriel’s, an expert in knitwear, and Johnson Woolen Mills, a manufacturer of hard-wearing outdoor gear. Lastly, 18 East enlisted Formbark to reinterpret the collection through its distinct visual lens that combines natural themes.
