Earth\Studies Explores the Idea of ‘Cyclicity’ in Experiment 12
Earth\Studies has released ‘Experiment 12’, which explores the natural hum of the seasons and their ever-evolving cycle.
Despite its association with the outdoors, Earth\Studies goes beyond a one-track mind and infuses its garments with utilitarian detailing, from integrated belts to expandable pockets. The lineup consists of renewed versions of the Field Pants, Research Shirt, Foraging Jacket, Utility Vest, Crew Hat and Utility Pants. Furthering its offering, Earth\Studies introduces its ’Craftwork’ line, which sees technical silhouettes constructed using hand-quilted Kantha fabric, a centuries-old practice of patching together pieces of material.
To prepare for the expected conditions, the garments bear insulating, protective and utilitarian qualities to endure this particular period of dormancy - darker, colder and wetter days. The natural colour palette reflects decaying organic matter, cloaking styles in wheat, charcoal and walnut shades.
