BEAMS Plus Serves up a Study of Ivy Uniforms for Spring/Summer '25
BEAMS Plus has revealed its Spring/Summer ‘25 collection, which builds upon its ongoing study into Ivy style and associated uniforms.
In the year following its 25th anniversary, BEAMS Plus heads into 2025 with the same purpose: to create ‘authentic men's clothing that can be worn for many years and never gets boring’ while seeking inspiration from the golden age of American style and design. For Spring/Summer ‘25, BEAMS Plus has created several original fabrics tailored to the season that are lightweight, thin and soft to the touch and pay homage to period-correct materials and how they sit on the body. Following this, the Japanese institution puts forth a range of garments that aren’t dissimilar from previous offerings, including utility shirts, knitted polo shirts, satin track pants with side stripes, camouflage jackets and Madras-style cardigans. Additionally, the vibrant colour scheme is inspired by the economic landscape of 1950s America, where colour symbolised prosperity and hope.
