HAVEN and ASICS Unite on the GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1 Silhouette
United by a shared appreciation of technical design that transcends imposed limitations and environments, HAVEN and ASICS have designed a collaborative edition of the GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1, which will be released alongside a range of apparel.
Inspired by brutalist architecture and the dynamic contrasts in urban environments, from textures to colours, the GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1 has been designed through the lens of duality and the interplay of light and shadow. The silhouette’s colour palette is split into black and grey to evoke the shifting interplay of light and dark, while reflective 3M detailing reveals new dimensions in low light. The shoe uses layered mesh and carbon fibre textures for tactility and visual depth. Performance attributes come by way of a dual-layered EVA foam midsole, GEL® technology inserts, and the TRUSSTIC System for superior cushioning and support.
HAVEN and ASICS’ debut partnership extends beyond footwear to include a dual-branded apparel capsule crafted for performance and utility. Select pieces include track jackets, track pants and caps made using GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER 3L fabric to ensure protection against the elements on Canada’s Pacific Northwest coast.
Release Details:
When? Friday, the 7th of February, followed by a global release on the 14th.
