UNDERCOVER Reveals its Autumn/Winter '25 Collection

A stalwart of Japanese streetwear culture in the 1990s, Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER label has transitioned over the decades to incorporate elements of high fashion and street-ready style to create an elevated design language that speaks to a broader audience.

In the past, we have seen Takahashi’s label seek inspiration from sci-fi and progressive British rock bands, which manifests in integrating popular graphics onto outerwear, t-shirts and sweatshirts. For Autumn/Winter ‘25, the collection features experimental electronic rock bands from Germany and France in the 1970s and 1980s, a formative time for the Japanese designer, including Faust, Heldon, Dieter Moebius, and Conrad Schnitzler. Single and album artworks from these bands appear on zip-up jackets, insulated down jackets, parkas and shirting, reflecting UNDERCOVER’s ability to blend the worlds of clothing and popular culture seamlessly. Additionally, UNDERCOVER furthers its refined tailoring silhouettes with slim bottoms, overcoats and blazer jackets, maintaining a low profile and letting their fit and form speak for themselves. Tartan check can be found on several key styles, including jackets and trousers, adding to the bold component of the range.
