N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE Autumn '25 Reconextualises Staple British Garments and Motifs
Just last week, N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE presented its Autumn ‘25 collection during New York Fashion Week, playing with familiar clothing archetypes.
After a visit to the UK in 2018, N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE designer Daisuke Obana became enamoured with its secondhand clothing culture and the amount of re-made clothing that existed, presenting endless possibilities. When these garments transcend their purpose and are stitched together, their original design codes are broken down and reconstructed to become new. For example, they become entirely new creations through subtle changes in fit, form, and fabric. Inspired by this process, N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE presents an array of recontextualised British archetypes for Autumn ‘25, from overcoats and Harrington jackets to bottoms and shirting. Iconic heritage patterns and materials follow suit of this, bolstering the authenticity of the brand’s creations.
