Studio Nicholson Expands its Accessories Offering in Collaboration with POTR (Copy)
Studio Nicholson and YOSHIDA & Co.’s ‘POTR’ brand mark their debut collaboration on three bag styles from the latter’s ‘Made in Japan’ collection.
At the centre of this partnership is a greater emphasis on fabrication and functionality, two cornerstones dear to Studio Nicholson’s heart, manifesting in three styles produced in the brand’s signature Darkest Navy colourway. The capsule arrives in various sizes and silhouettes, including a reworked Bonsac shoulder bag, a versatile messenger bag, and a daily key pouch set.
A hallmark of this particular POTR range, each bag is handcrafted from luxurious, hard-wearing Japanese nylon, chosen for its high density and exceptional durability. The inner lining is made from a dense, 70d durable ripstop fabric for added strength. Finishing touches found throughout the bags include concealed stitches for a refined look, the initial ‘N’ on the zipper tape stitch, premium cowhide leather zip pulls that will age over time, and subtle collaborative branding. Each detail is carefully considered to reflect the inherent Japanese craftsmanship that goes into each product.
