The final Blade Runner prequel directed by Shinichiro Watanabe has arrived
Leading up to the release of Blade Runner 2049, director Denis Villeneuve has asked three different artists to make a small short prequel to fill the gap between the original Blade Runner released in 1982 and the new one which is releasing worldwide later this year.
For the last and final one, Villeneuve asked no other than Shinichiro Watanabe, creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo to direct a short titled "BLADE RUNNER 2049: 2022 BLACK OUT". They also tapped Flying Lotus for the score which sets the perfect mood for the film. Watch the final prequel below.
