BEAMS collaborates with Universal Overall for playful take on classic workwear pieces

Japanese retailer BEAMS takes its playful approach to the well-crafted workwear garments of Universal Overall.

The Chicago based brand brings in its 90 years of experience in the production of quality garments to craft a small capsule collection that is a perfect marriage between construction and design. Among the range, expect a clean pair of painter pants and the Coverall Coach jacket, a piece that earns its name through blending multiple elements of both iconic styles. Sporting snap buttons, elastic bands at the sleeve cuffs, and an adjustable hem cord, the piece seamlessly blends both streetwear and workwear. With a characteristically bold patchwork colorway that features a split front design and contrasting sleeves and pockets, the collaborative pair has crafted something for those who wish to keep it a little loud. If you prefer it subtle, however, this style and the accompanying painter pants come in both black and beige.

Check out each style in detail below and head over to BEAMS to make a purchase.
