The North Face Purple Label Teams Up with Dr. Martens on the 9-Hole Boot
Fresh off of nanamica’s footwear collaboration with Dr. Martens, The North Face Purple Label follows suit by collaborating with Dr. Martens on the high-top 9-hole boot.
Dr. Martens has established an identity around vintage design reminiscent of the 90s. Meanwhile, the latest collaborative footwear item combines the functionality and heavy-duty style of The North Face Purple Label to create an outdoor-focused adaptation of the classic 9-hole boot. The upper is crafted from a water-resistant leather while the sole welt is also water proof, preventing moisture from entering around the sole. Additionally, the upper is lined with a “DRYWAIR” membrane waterproofing system developed by Dr. Martens. DRYWAIR is developed with a PFC-free polyurethane that provides breathability while preventing moisture from entering. Accent details include a suede upper contrasted by a full grain leather heel counter and a branded heel loop.
