Engineered Garments and Barbour returns for a Spring/Summer '19 capsule
Barbour and Engineered Garments teamed up back in the Autumn/Winter ‘18 collection, delivering a successful array of 5 outerwear pieces blending Daiki Suzuki's infatuation for military garments, American workwear, and vintage styles with Barbour’s mastery of waxed cotton garments. For SS19, the two brands reunite for a second capsule collection now expanded to 6 unique models.
Signature details and themes are present in their latest work such as strictly military colorways and overloaded pocket space. In light of the warmer Summer climates, they introduce the Arthur Gilet vest that features a buckle strap collar and asymmetrical body pockets. The Irving Jacket is a casual MA-1 bomber jacket crafted from a lightweight yet durable hydrocarbon coated cotton, providing a waxy feel to the touch and protection against the elements. Meanwhile, the Unlined Graham Jacket , Thompson Jacket, Warby Jacket, and South Jacket Trench Jacket are all hooded-pieces outfitted with a plethora of features such as pocket storage space, adjustable drawstring waistlines, and elasticated cuffs.
The collection will be available to purchase in-store at Barbour Carnaby Street as well as Nepenthes NY in the near future.
