Modernica revisits Vans archival patterns for an exclusive footwear and furniture capsule
Modernica, a Los Angeles-based furniture company that has been manufacturing high-pressure fiberglass molding for over 25 years, has teamed up with Vans to celebrate both company’s timeless dedication to design and craftsmanship.
The exclusive capsule collection includes a range of Vans footwear and Modernica’s iconic fiberglass shell chair, both outfitted with archival Van’s patterns that reflect their Southern California heritage. Vans' Style 36 LX and OG Slip-On LX models are offered in black/checkerboard, seed pearl/palm leaf, or leather brown/Hawaiian colorways. The footwear pieces also feature a unique heel tab graphic design, a small detail of their collaborative reinterpretation of classic designs. The same prints on the footwear match those of the 3 variations on the fiberglass shell chair to complete the set.
The Vault by Vans x Modernica capsule collection will be available on February 23 at select retail shops including Blends.
