hobo and Danner revamp the popular Tachyon 8" Boot
hobo and Danner continue their long-lasting run of collaborations that has spanned four years and five different releases by coming together for a functional take on the popular Tachyon 8” Boot.
The revamped model retains functional aspects of the original military-inspired trainer while incorporating comfort and convenience for everyday wear. Danner’s original DRY technology, a breathable, high performance textile lining with 100% waterproofing, supports the black cow suede and nylon/polyester blend mesh upper. While the original model was an 8” model, the collaboration run is reduced to a more convenient 6” model for easy wear and styling. The midsole features the lightweight yet cushioned EVA rubber while the outsole is fitted with a pentagon lug pattern for grip in extreme conditions. Each pair comes with three unique lacing colorways: tonal black and orange/yellow dual-tone parachute cords.
The boot will be available this upcoming Saturday, March 16 via COVERCHORD.
