Visvim’s second Product Introspection series for SS19 takes a deep dive into the collage technique utilized through footwear, tops, and outerwear.
With today’s fashion world’s infatuation with DIY and patchwork, Visvim takes a refreshing approach towards their collage technique with an appreciation for the selected patterns and fabrics as well as the manual sewing details required for Visvim-level garments. The highly-sought after Christo Collage Sandal and Roland Jogger Collage incorporate varying patterns such as polka dot fabric printed using natural cochineal dye and a check patterned slub linen material crafted with a natural indigo kasezome skein-dye technique. Their cut-and-sew tees incorporate Americana-inspirations with American flag graphics alongside playful images featuring Hiroki Nakamura himself.
