Kapital’s recent rise to fame, brought on by their meticulous attention to detail and fan applause from notable heroes in pop culture, is surely pressed to continue with an upcoming Autumn/Winter ‘19 range that refines some of its strongest motifs with slightly different twists on their original forms.
Bone graphics, a mainstay for the Japanese label, finds itself here once again though in slightly more aggressive numbers, seeing its way onto knit sweatervests, noragis, denim rider jackets, and the usual sweatshirt combos: the latter of which seeing patchwork executions by way of a quilted linings atop its back. A denim edition of their iconic Ring Coat features the same sort of fused, hybrid constructions while the typical host of fabrications — in a mix of earth tones — add a bit of a baseline to the oversized staple. What may be most exciting, however, is their play on current trends, covered utility vest in faded indigos while adding almost illusory quilting to down-filled outerwear, effectively creating a set piece that is so recognizably them.
