FACETASM Basks in the Sun with a Spring/Summer '20 Resort Collection
Entering a new decade just about half a year early, FACETASM is embracing the Summer with a set of materials that more so armor against it. SS20 is a celebration of the label’s norm though packaged in a way much more transformative than those prior.
Graphic tees add the classic feel good vandalism characteristic of previous designs, sitting next to garments of bold red and blue hues dressed up in plaids across various pieces of shirting. Sweatshirts as well as their eccentric alternates, which match the opposing neutral palettes in their grey terry, are found in forms other than the traditional hoodie, seeing modifications by way of contrasting dress shirt components stitched together a la Frankenstein’s monster as well as in ripped apart constructions that take the form of a billowing shawl. Standout trousers drape in their many layers, billowing in a way akin to a dress though ending at the hem in a traditional flared pant leg. Outerwear, aside from the leisurely garb of the aforementioned, take on the structures of trucker jackets, thinly fabricated bombers, and much more though shined through the lens of Bruno Bucciarati as they zip off across their sides and backs.
