Ethereal in its presentation yet solid in form, UNAFFECTED’s AW19 range is one of overwhelming simplicity with function lying at the heart of many a monochrome-dressed masterwork.
Minimal yet appropriate, the palettes stay strong within its comfort zone, swapping between bright and dark as the collection travels from cold-enduring piece to piece. Light tans lie in deep, deep contrast to a vast many in black or navy while patterning by way of subtle shadow plaids add just one touch of extra flair on the Korean label’s wool overcoat. Utility — both in the construction itself as well as aesthetic — are felt in spades, with oversized pockets lying in divergent tones along fleece vests while more maximal arrangements see their way on lapel-adorned outerwear, mountain parkas, and the assortment of down-fill armaments.
