Cootie Productions Autumn/Winter '19
Often drawing within the lines of their own making -- that is, none at all -- Cootie Productions and their seasonal make-ups further flesh out their playful approach on high quality and their penchant for relaxed cuts. Borrowing a look quite familiar to workwear itself, AW19 displays reserved strength in its subjugation of timeless staples.
Autumnal hues, fittingly, steal the much of the show with palettes infrequently deviating for the solid neutral or extremely bold red-dressed pattern. Fleece shirting alongside zipped variations of a classic two pocket design are among the many basic tops; flannels, half-zips, and much more also join along for the ride. In terms of outerwear, the Japanese labels keeps it simple, preferring the warming cover of down fill blousons, shadow plaid donning overcoats while fleshing out an expanse of both leather and quilted constructions. Chore coat stay the iconic tan tone, matching similarly in the form of its wool sibling, while trousers arrive in either overt color match or striking compliment to its adjacent pieces.
