RATS Autumn/Winter '19
Originally starting out as a humble graphic tee label, Japanese cult label RATS has since come into their own, finding affinity for the edge of motorcycle culture. AW19 is a refinement of that aesthetic with pieces also diving into workwear icons.
Starting strong yet simple, each piece is their own translation of staples: bomber jackets retain their cropped and wide structures with stitched patches branding throughout; utility vests are barren save for their pleasantly excessive assortment of compartments; and chore coats are kept almost untouched aside from their modified band collars and its few graphic notes. Denim, a mainstay within the influence drawn from, are, of course, represented with work shirts taking on a darkly tinted chambray and overalls staying near perfect to their original.
