KAPTAIN SUNSHINE Spring/Summer '20
Enamored with vintage Americana workwear and naval outfits, Shinsuke Kojima launched KAPTAIN SUNSHINE in 2013, impressing Japanese fabrics and techniques to Western styles and silhouettes. His latest take on outdoor and nautical influences continue to manifest in the water and earth-themed Spring/Summer ‘20 collection.
The latest lookbook from KAPTAIN SUNSHINE perfectly captures its minimal garments in natural environments including scenes of the cliffside and the sea. For the breezy conditions, they offer lightweight linen blazer jackets alongside slightly modified Harrington jackets functionalized with additional chest pockets and a secondary buttoned collar. Zip up vests come in unique clay plaid colorways that layer perfectly on top of extended button up collarless shirts. The tartan plaid pattern is heavily featured throughout the collection as featured in wide-legged trousers and additional blazer jackets. Summer outfits are topped off with easy-going shorts and their modern taken on strapped slip-ons.
