NYUZELESS Spring/Summer '20
NYUZELESS by Masahiro Tanabe retains is singular focus on utilizing down constructions in the form of modern vintage Americana military and workwear styles as it enters Spring/Summer for its 5th year of operation.
Masahiro’s infatuation with the field jacket continues as NYUZELESS displays two of its latest iteration of the iconic silhouette sporting four pockets on the front. One style, in a darker olive colorway, has patches stitched above the chest pockets, reminiscent of BDU shirts, while the other in a lighter khaki tone features a buttoned collar, presumably influenced by the harrington jacket style. The high-sheen fabric accentuates the shape and drape of the jacket while button fasteners around the hem and sleeves ensure protection from the environment. This same fabric is utilized for their take on the trench coat integrated with a belt, allowing for play on silhouette and fit. While inspired by military elements, NYUZELESS is never shy to employ new fabrics and techniques. Their latest collection features unlikely colorways of their take on knitwear with electric blue and burnt orange field shirts, ideal for the Spring/Summer season.
