SHIRTER Fall/Winter '20 'Urban Wanderer'
SHIRTERs Fall/Winter ‘20 collection derives its inspiration from an untapped source; it looks to the clothing worn by the unemployed who dressed neatly while looking for work during the Great Depression in 1929.
Since 2017, SHIRTER has devoted themselves to creating high-quality garments that focus on the moment as opposed to transient trends. They see this sentiment as their sole mission and it shines through in the clothing they deliver. Fall/Winter ‘20 is a slew of relaxed silhouettes in the form of overdyed sweatshirts, down insulated jackets, Oxford shirts and denim with exposed stitching. With their sights set on ‘basics’ and ‘staples’, they do this exceedingly well with thanks to relaxed cuts and subtle detailing. In addition, there is a number of outerwear pieces which are technical by nature. For example, their ‘3L Hooded Utility Jacket’ is constructed using a 3-Layer fabric and incorporates a VENTWIN membrane which is highly breathable and waterproof, as well as being wind repellent. It features technical details aplenty such as seam-taping to further enhance weather-proofing, suitably placed chest pockets and adjustable stoppers.
Their Fall/Winter ‘20 collection is available now from their online store.
